I know you are hoping to hear how the labs turned out on Monday and what Roy’s next steps will be. You know, there’s a reason that the lab results looked remarkably similar to those done on February 1 – they were the results from labs done on February 1 and not those from February 11. So, the instructions to go for biopsy are on hold until the February 11 lab results can be located.
The computer system appears to have eaten the results from Monday, or at least tucked them away in some secret pocket universe to hide them from the hepatologist for a bit. The hepatologist’s nurse Audra is tracking the results down, but that means we have to wait a bit longer to find out if Roy needs to go for a liver biopsy or continue on the current track of medications.
For his part, Roy says he feels better. He is less puffy and still shedding water weight, and he is not nearly as yellow as he was. He went out today and walked around the block once in the sunny weather.
