News from Dallas today included results from all the lab tests done on February 1 and a phone call from Audra in Dr. Asrani’s office with a plan. Essentially, Roy’s liver function numbers seem to have plateaued so he’s getting a new prescription to add Albumin to his body this week. He will get labs done again on Monday February 11 to see if that helps speed up his body processes. If his numbers continue to improve, he’ll stay on the medications. If his numbers stay the same, he will go to Dallas to have a liver biopsy. His albumin is too low at this time.
He does see the gastroenterologist for that follow-up on Wednesday.
