Roy’s Preferred Charities

Roy requested that any memorial donations go to one of the following

Roy chose Aggieland Humane Society because they are able to help cats and dogs who find themselves without homes. His secondary choice was Bryan Animal Shelter because he said that those animals need help, too.

Roy chose Six Kittens Rescue because he was interested in helping feral cats and those who are without homes. Roy supported the work of the BCS Spay/Neuter Project because they help make Trap-Neuter-Release possible and help people find low cost veterinary care.

Lastly for those who want to help people, Roy requested that gifts be given to Friends Congregational church for the Accessibility Fund. Friends is an Accessible for All congregation that is seeking to add an accessibility ramp to the sanctuary entrance to extend the extravagant welcome more clearly.

Roy chose the cat-focused charities because of his lifelong companions who came to our home as shelter-finds, strays, or reformed feral cats. Roy chose the Accessibility Fund at Friends because it is a true need that will make a difference for people struggling with temporary illnesses or lifelong physical challenges and make Friends a better place for all.
